Butterfly bush is a beautiful decidious shrub that attracts…wait for it…BUTTERFLIES!  You will also provide for hummingbirds and honey bees(SAVE THE BEES), they thank you in advance. Butterfly Bush This full sun loving shrub blooms during the Summer and into the Fall.  Blooms come in Pink, purple, red, white and yellow and form thick plumes at the end of long reaching shoots.  Butterfly Bush can reach heights of eight feet, but varieties can be found that do not get as large.  Make sure to cut them back each spring to ensure there is new growth for the Butterfly Bush to bloom on.  I encourage everyone to look into this shrub due to its low maintenance needs and great return on investment!

Make this year the year you finally spruce up your landscape!  Is the Butterfly Bush perfect for you garden?  Read more about it here and here if you need more convincing!
