Plant of the Week – Hyacinth

A wonderful spring flower the hyacinth has stunning blooms and a wonderful scent.  Plant these low growing perennials around a deck or patio where they will get full sun to get the most out of them.  Hyacinth are perfect landscape additions with a huge variety of color options and easy maintenance needs.  Plant the hyacinth bulbs in the fall about 4 inches deep and water thoroughly.   When spring time arrives you will be greeted with an explosion of color and fragrance!  Best planted in masses or in containers these little flowers sum up what is best about the spring season.
