Salvia is a fantastic plant for anyone, especially those of you looking for an extremely easy landscape to maintain.  They work best when massed together, which makes the most of their dense spikes of blooms!  Blooms come in Blue, pink, purple and other colors making it easy to match your taste!  Saliva are wonderful for low maintenance landscapes due to their heat and drought tolerance, as well as having few insect and disease problems.  Plant these in an area that will receive lots of sun and has well-draining soil.  When the right conditions are provided Salvia will make for great additions to your garden.  In addition to being low maintenance, Salvia are great for cut flowers and attract hummingbirds!  Just remember, as is true for all plants, make sure to put down at least 2-3 inches of mulch to help retain moisture and prevent weeds and don’t forget to water!Close up of Salvia Bloom
